Editing an original text by Abdul Samad Summers. known for a time as ‘Sheikh Zamzami’, British David Jephrey Winter, turned to Islam in the early 70’s changing his family name from ‘Winter’ to ‘Summmers’ and stuck to first name Abddul Samad, “Servant of the Eternal”. Abdul Samad engaged in humanitarian aid in Asia as “Islamic Relief UK” and “Feed The Poor”, until his retirement around 2018, before passing away in Andalusia, Spain, July 2020, where he lies today waiting for resurrection. He wrote this 10 years after turning to Islam, around 1979. The text was recovered recently by his Ahmad Zaruq (born 1979) who intends to type out the manuscript and publish it to the memory of his father throughout 2023, “in shaa a’ Allah”.
